In order to showcase a variety of ways to construct buildings, ITLL
utilizes seven different structural systems, including concrete,
load-bearing masonry and steel. One particularly visual example is the
40 foot steel truss in the Hewlett Packard Lab Plaza that is also
instrumented to allow us to accurately measure the effect of additional
load as shown.
